Gravity lock – square key

- Gravity lock assembly for plastic bins.- Facilitates locking of the lid to the bin against unwanted entry.- Consists of a lock, a latch, a lower part, a set of two keys and a template for drilling holes.- The key can be removed in the open position and the lid can be closed to lock it.- The use of a template is required to drill the holes for installation of the lock.
Lock function- After unlocking the lock, it is possible to remove the key and continue to open and close the container as needed.- After closing the lid and in order to lock it, the lock must be turned to the locked position with the key – it can be locked even in the open position of the lid and then just close the lid.- This design is used in areas where it is necessary to ensure access to the waste container for a larger number of users at the same time, e.g. apartment buildings.- A container fitted with a gravity lock in the locked position is locked again after being emptied by the collection company after the lid
