Gravity lock – round key

- Gravity lock assembly for plastic bins.- Facilitates locking of the lid to the bin against unwanted entry.- Consists of a lock, a latch, a lower part, a set of two keys and a template for drilling holes.- The key can only be removed after closing the lid and locking it with the key.- The use of a template is required to drill the holes for installation of the lock.
Lock function- Once the lock is unlocked, the key cannot be removed until the lock is turned back to the locked position.- After closing the lid and in order to lock it, the lock must be turned to the locked position with the key – it can be locked even in the open position of the lid and then just close the lid.- This design is used in public areas, where it is necessary to secure the waste container against unauthorized use, e.g. a sidewalk near a family house.- A container fitted with a gravity lock in the locked position is locked again after being emptied by the collection company after the lid is closed.
