Tactile map/sign (acrylic 3.2 mm aluminum 1 mm, relief 0.9–1.2 mm)

Tactile maps and signs designed for visually impaired and blind users to improve navigation in public and private environments. Manufactured using a dual-layer structure: a 3.2 mm acrylic top layer and a 1 mm aluminum backing. The surface is matte, anti-glare, and fingerprint-resistant for optimal tactile reading.

Graphics and symbols are produced in relief using mechanical milling with a height of 0.9–1.2 mm. Maps include a schematic layout with a tactile legend positioned on the side or bottom, separated by a line. Signs provide essential directional information without a layout.

Text is presented in raised Sans Serif uppercase lettering and includes 6-dot Braille. Color contrast is at least 40% (standard: blue background with white elements), ensuring accessibility for users with visual impairments.

Dimensions depend on the amount of information. Installation options include wall mounting or placement on metal floor stands (lectern type). Products comply with D.P.R. 503/1996, UNI 8207, UNI 11168-1 and are approved by I.N.M.A.C.I.
